We generally meet our new clients face-to-face whether that be via Skype or in person to get up and running – and overcome any shyness. Our Principal, Colleen Diver has been bookkeeping since 1995. She thrives on the challenge of getting a new set of books in order and then providing business owners with up-to-date, real time information to help them manage their business.
Colleen was fortunate to have forward-thinking clients who were early adopters of online accounting software and electronic data storage in 2007. Since then Colleen has been assisting other businesses and accounting professionals to move their business to the cloud and reap the benefits of having information at their fingertips anywhere, any time.
The thriving Xero Add-On community continues to expanded the range of solutions available. This has sparked Colleen's passion for automating business processes to take the pressure off busy lives, freeing up business owners to spend time with their friends, families and doing things that they love.
Colleen is a certified BAS Agent, so you can rest assured that your work is being overseen and completed by qualified professionals who have met educational and experience standards.
Sarah Parkinson

Sarah brings to the Diverse Business team a breadth of experience as a business owner and operator. Since 2004, Sarah has operated her own businesses in both the service and product sectors in Brisbane. In 2002, Sarah sold the Brisbane fresh food business she established, employing more than 15 staff with a turnover in excess of $2 million.
Equipped with technical skills and hands-on business management experience, Sarah knows what it is like to manage a small business. Now a certified bookkeeper, Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Integrated Marketing and Public Relations.

Melissa has small to medium sized business bookkeeping experience as long as your arm, or longer! She has worked in the accounting industry since 2001 across a wide range of industries and software packages. As a certified BAS Agent equipped with a Certificate IV in Accounting - as well as a Certificate III Music Industry Skills just for kicks - Melissa thrives on getting business owners on the right track with their accounts. Melissa thrives on getting accounts systems - that work - set up to provide valuable business insight!

Kylie is a can-do woman. She makes anything she does look easy including being a mother to four busy children. Kylie runs a successful plumbing business with her husband (using Xero to manage the accounts of course) and prior to this had a significant career working in an accounting firm as well as accounts and payroll for a private school. As another feather in her cap, Kylie is a qualified personal trainer and has previously run a large fitness centre. Small business books are her thing.

Thorough, attentive and reliable - Sue knows her Xero bookkeeping inside out. Prior to joining the Diverse team, Sue had been running her own show for many years. She started helping a friend with their business and then referral followed referral. Highly motivated and dedicated, Sue is a pillar to the Diverse team and gains great satisfaction putting in place systems to help business owners.
Loryn Butterworth

Loryn knows her GST from her WET. Loryn is a hospitality bookkeeping specialist and has worked with Diverse for more than 5 years supporting a range of cafes, bars, restaurants and hospitality businesses with their onerous data entry and bookkeeping. Equipped with the know how to handle those bookkeeping quirks unique to the hospitality industry, you know that your invoices will be correctly coded with Loryn working on your accounts.
