At the end of August, the Diverse team came together from far and wide across the country for our annual retreat where team members had a fantastic few days learning, collaborating, upskilling and getting to know one another better.
On Thursday, people travelled from all over the eastern suburbs to the Sunshine Coast, boarded the ferry and headed to our accommodation at Noosa North Shore on the Queensland Sunshine Coast.
The Thursday welcome evening was all about a ‘meet and greet’ as we enjoyed abundant platters, refreshments and a beautiful meal.
On Friday, we started the morning with sunrise yoga and beautiful breakfast hampers in the accommodation.
Then it was ‘crunch’ time for the learning and collaborating part of the retreat with informative workshops hosted by a range of team members from 9am to 5pm.
Some of the workshops included cyber security, best practice bookkeeping and demonstrations of how to get the most out of apps available.
We also arranged for a local photographer to take fresh team shots with lots of smiling faces and laughs while we were all together.
For our finale dinner on the Friday night, we were treated to a beautiful night at the renowned Bistro C on Hastings Street.
With the team growing so much over the last 12 months, it was a fabulous time to get everyone together, strengthen our working relationships and fine-tune our skills.
